Proti proudu Moravské Budějovice je kulturní festival pořádaný občanským sdružením K4. Festival má dlouholetou tradici – funguje již od roku 1997, čímž se řadí mezi nejstarší akce tohoto typu na Vysočině. PP se vyvinul z malé lokální akce pro místní nadšence až k festivalu, který navštíví přes dva tisíce lidí během jednoho víkendu. Pořadatelé se stále drží humanitární myšlenky a každoročně věnují výtěžek festivalu organizacím, jež se zabývají sociálně znevýhodněnými lidmi. Během jedenácti ročníků bylo předáno přes 250 tisíc korun. Nespornou výhodou pro festival je unikátní prostor letního kina, který vytváří „rodinnou“ atmosféru a odlišuje PP od běžných „loukových“ festivalů. Návštěvnost se pohybuje mezi 2 a 3 tisíci lidmi..

Das Kulturfestival Proti proudu Moravské Budějovice wird seit dem Jahr 1997 von der Bürgervereinigung K4 veranstaltet und gilt für eine der ältesten Veranstaltugen dieses Typs im Region Vysočina. PP entwickelte sich von der lokalen Musikveranstaltung für die begeisterten Jugendliche zum zwei Tage dauernde Kulturfest mit mehr als 2 500 Besuchern. Sehr wichtig für den Veranstalter ist, den humanitären Gedanken zu erhalten. Jedes Jahr wird der Ertrag des Festivals den mit den sozialschwachen Leuten beschäftigten Organisationen gewidmet. Zum heutigen Tag wurde mehr als 250 000,- Kč übergegeben. Zum grossen Vorteil des Festivals gehört der einzigartige Areal des Freilichtkinos, der zum Unterschied von anderen Festivals sehr angenehme und spezifische Familienatmosphäre hervorgerufen hat.

Proti proudu Moravské Budějovice is a cultural festival organized by a civic association K4. The festival has a long tradition – it has been working since 1997, that makes it one of the oldest events of this type in the region of Vysočina. PP has evolved from a small local event for local fans to the festival, which more than two thousand people visit during one weekend. Promoters still uphold humanitarian ideas and annually donate the festival profits to organizations that deal with socially disadvantaged people. Over 250 thousand crowns has been referred during last eleven years. One of the advantages of the festival is a unique space of an open-air cinema, which creates a „family“ atmosphere and differs PP from the common „grass field“ festivals. Attendance is between 2 and 3 thousand people.
